“ The food here at the Hive Cafe is so good that I had to come back again lol. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly face and the vibes were on point. The first time I visited I tried the Build-A-Breakfast and it comes with two sides, a choice of bread, and a choice meat. I had French toast (2 pieces come with it) and for my sides, I chose grits, bacon, and some breakfast potatoes. I also ordered a Dusse Punch for my drink and everything was so good! When I came back the 2nd time, I ordered the Fast Breakfast croissant, egg, and cheese. I added bacon to it and to drink I just ordered some apple juice. My food was delicious this time as well and my waitress both visits were super sweet. ”

“ Very cute breakfast/brunch cafe and they're open on Mondays! I've taken a couple folks here and the food and service are excellent. I've tried the shrimp and grits, the french toast, and the chicken and waffles. All of it was delicious. They have mimosa options as well as a bar for mixed drinks. Parking is off street but shared with the local residents who live above the restaurant (that has to be unnecessarily tempting if you work from home!) Anywho, check them out. They manage mid size groups pretty well. I'll return! ”
“ Everyone was very friendly. The aesthetics were cool, there was beautiful artwork and a fireplace in the back. Very comfy. The food was tasty as well. I ordered chicken and waffles which was 10 out of 10. Chicken was flavorful and Delicious. My breakfast companion ordered an omelette and it was huge. Probably a shareable item but this was missing some flavor or the fried chicken just made it seem bland as I was ruined by how delicious the chicken and waffles was. I would return for sure. Enjoy! ”

“ This restaurant has been buzzing around me for months now so I was excited to to finally give it a try. It was the cutest little cafe!!! Cute little tables and chairs and a small bar seating area. Very well lit. They were pretty packed when we arrived but the wait wasn't too long for seating. The food was really really good minus the large amount of butter. I literally enjoyed every single bite. I'd actually rate the French Toast in the top 3 in STL. The eggs were fluffy and pancake nice and crispy. The severs were very tentative and I have no complaints. The only headache was the parking. Shout to the owner for jumping in to cook! Love to see it. I'll be back! ”
“ Y'all!!! I don't even know where to begin!!! Excellence and friendliness abound!!!! I will start with the food. They have mimosas!!! I ordered an omelette with shrimp and all the veggies!!!! My friend ordered shrimp and grits!! YUMMY!!! Super relaxed environment with super delicious food. “ Went here on a weekday morning to get some breakfast. When we walked in, it's self seating. There was a small crowd so the sound was good. I like the windows all around to get a view of the area. The waitress was very accommodating and nice. They gave us plenty time to order and our food came in at a decent time. I got chicken and waffles with some eggs and fruit. I also got a latte that was good. The chicken was well seasoned and the waffle was buttery and delicious. Eggs were the best. I would return. ”
